I want to give Bob and Gene Slate a big thank you for taking us fishing this past Saturday April the 18th. We had a lot of fun with them on Amistad Lake. We were able to catch 9 fish and a lot of sun. It was the first time for Sandra Sandy and me to fish out of a boat.
Sandra had a hard time with the fishing. She enjoyed it, but she did not catch anything. Sandy did real well. She ended up catching one. I did OK. I caught 3, but I lost more tackle than anyone. Bob said I was getting expensive and they
showed me
how to fix my own rigging.
We all enjoyed the lake. It is wonderful to see and feel
the beauty of God’s creation. One would not think such a beautiful thing would be found in an area as this, but yet it is here. It is good to stop and take a look around and see what an awesome God we have. Let us praise Him for who He is, the Great “I AM”.
